Current Faculty Openings

The Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor positions (any field).  These positions will begin in the 2010-11 academic year.  Applicants are required to submit a cover letter which includes the names of three references and a curriculum vita online at http://tinyurl.com/mao2gp.  Additionally, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit up to three published or unpublished research papers and evidence of teaching performance, such as teaching evaluations, via mail to Junior Faculty Search Committee, Department of Economics, The University of Chicago, 1126 E. 59th Street, Chicago, IL  60637.  The application deadline is June 30, 2010.  Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.  The Junior Faculty Search Committee will conduct interviews at the 2010 ASSA meetings to be held in Atlanta, GA on January, 3-5, 2010.  Final candidates will be invited for on-campus visits.  The University of Chicago is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
