
Benjamin Brooks is a Professor in Economics and the College at the University of Chicago and the Director of Graduate Studies. His research interests are in microeconomic theory, with a focus on games of incomplete information, auctions, mechanism design, repeated games, and computational game theory.
Brooks holds several editorial positions: Editor for the Journal of Political Economy: Microeconomics, Co-editor for Economic Theory, Associate Editor for American Economic Review: Insights, and Associate Editor for Theoretical Economics.
He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University in 2014 and served as a research scholar at the Becker Friedman Institute before joining the department.
