
Pablo Peña is an Associate Instructional Professor in Economics and the College, specializing in applied price theory, human capital theory, and empirical economics. His work leverages experimental and quasi-experimental methods, as well as large datasets, to test economic theories and provide actionable insights for businesses, non-profits, and government agencies. Peña is a co-founder of Microanalitica and previously served as Director of Private Sector Partnerships at the Development Innovation Lab and as head of Economic Studies at Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
