
Assistant Instructional Professor in Economics and the College
Murilo Ramos is an Assistant Instructional Professor. His research focuses on applied econometrics in the field of political economics. He studies policies that promote political accountability, the relationship between corruption and campaign finance, and the role of media in informing citizens about the behavior of elected officials. He is also interested in the implications of artificial intelligence for the labor market and in how power is distributed across different sectors of society. Ramos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley.
