Assistant Professor in Economics and the College

Juanma Castro-Vincenzi is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics, specializing in international trade, macroeconomics, and environmental economics. His research focuses on the interplay between global markets, macroeconomic policy, and environmental outcomes. Castro-Vincenzi is a Faculty Research Fellow (ITI) with the National Bureau of Economic Research and an associate editor of the Journal of International Economics. Previously, he was a Saieh Family Fellow in Economics with the University of Chicago’s Becker Friedman Institute and the Michael Chae Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Harvard University Department of Economics. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.
