Associate Professor in Economics and the College

Thibaut Lamadon is an Associate Professor of Economics with tenure at the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics. His research focuses on labor markets, earnings dynamics, productivity shocks, and firm-worker interactions, as well as methodological advances in econometrics. Recent projects explore the effects of productivity shocks in long-term contracts, imperfect competition and rent sharing, and the estimation of firm effects and worker sorting. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from University College London. Prior to joining the department, he was a fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute.
