Alexander Torgovitsky is a Professor in Economics and the College at the University of Chicago and the Director of Graduate Admissions. His research focuses on empirical methodology and causal inference in economics and the social sciences. He also serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Econometrics and as a co-editor for the Econometric Theory journal.
