Associate Instructional Professor in Economics and the College

Kanit Kuevibulvanich is an Associate Instructional Professor in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics. He primarily teaches intermediate and advanced courses in macroeconomics and policy analysis, as well as principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics. He also serves as assistant faculty advisor to the Fed Challenge and Fiscal Challenge teams.

His research focuses on structural macroeconomic models, general equilibrium frameworks, and dynamic programming methods for solving macroeconomic models. His thesis applied numerical methods to analyze the politico-economic effects of trade liberalization and wealth inequality. He has previously advised multiple theses involving further applications and advancements in the solution algorithms of these models. He is also happy to advise on other macroeconomics-related topics.

He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
