
Professor in Economics and the College
Christopher R. Walters is a Professor in Economics and the College, specializing in labor economics, the economics of education, and applied econometrics. His research explores topics such as school choice, early childhood education, and labor market discrimination, often using experimental and quasi-experimental methods. Walters earned his B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Virginia and his Ph.D. in Economics from MIT. He is a fellow with the Society of Labor Economists and co-editor for the Journal of Political Economy.
