Mikkel Plagborg-Møller is Professor in Economics at the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics, specializing in time series econometrics and macroeconomics. His research focuses on estimation of dynamic causal effects, structural estimation of heterogeneous agent models, and topics in applied macroeconomics. Plagborg-Møller was awarded an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship and a National Science Foundation CAREER Grant in 2023. He is Associate Editor for Quantitative Economics and Econometrica and Foreign Editor of the Review of Economic Studies. Previously, he was on the faculty at Princeton University, where he received the Harvey Rosen Prize for undergraduate teaching. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University.
